Children and their families are caught in the middle of intense conflict in Gaza and Israel. The crisis is having grave humanitarian consequences, particularly within Gaza where levels of suffering were high and growing before recent events. Currently, the extreme complexity and deep restrictions make it virtually impossible for most charities to actively respond. However, when aid routes open, it’s local organisations who will make the biggest impact for children and their families. Street Child has launched a Middle East Crisis Fund in line with our fundamental perspective about the power of locally-rooted action and a clear focus on children's safety and futures. We are in active contact with a growing range of local and regional actors to ensure we are well positioned to provide aid for those who need it most when we are able.
We guarantee that 100% of donations received into the fund until at least the end of 2023 will be spent on the ground.
