At Street Child we’re always improving how and where we use our donors' contributions.
We are dedicated to allowing children to shape a better world for themselves and their families. Our experts work every day with these children to understand how to help, support, and empower them. Your contribution allows this process to continue, inclusive of ongoing learning and advocacy, and brings the voices of the participants in our projects to the fore.
Financial contributions enable us to do what we do: without funding, we can’t operate.
Unrestricted donations have a magic quality that creates a multiplier effect. These donations unlock opportunities with new donors, enabling us to reach more children at scale. As well as covering our core costs, the money will often go towards topping up funding from larger institutional partners. This process means your money will often end up in our biggest and most impactful projects – which will produce fantastic learning, and will have a greater impact on the lives of children around the world.
Regular updates and project reports: Your dedicated account manager will send you regular updates and tailor-made reports, including stories of the children and families whose lives you have helped to transform.
The opportunity to visit our projects: In some circumstances, you will be able to visit the life-changing programmes you are funding.
Invitations to exclusive events: You will also be invited to attend exclusive events where you can learn about the latest developments at Street Child, meet our staff and trustees, and network with like-minded supporters.

Quite simply, we operate where we can make a difference. We seek out contexts where need is high, funding is low, and as such, are often in places where others won’t go.
We prioritise children in the most marginalised populations and currently work in over 20 countries across sub-Saharan Africa and Asia—and are always on the lookout for opportunities where we can have an impact.
